FEBRUARY 2011 HOMEOWNER MEETING.  This was yet another active meeting where many homeowners were present, and the TMMC supporters were rude and aggressive as usual.  Some of the more notable points are:

  • The meeting began with the Board noting that they have, again, placed new members onto the Board without Homeowner votes.  This is a violation of our CC&R's, and we have had an illegal Board sitting for about 12 years now.  Our Dec's and By-Laws clearly state that:
"Vacancies on the Board may be filled, pursuant to Art. IV, sect. 6, by a vote of the majority or the remaining Directors, and each person so elected shall be a director until a successor is elected at the next annual meeting.  At the Annual Meeting, pursuant to Art. III, sect. 3, there shall be elected by a ballot of the Owners a Board of Directors in accordance with Art. IV, sect. 5 of these By-Laws.  If any meeting of Owners cannot be organized because a quorum has not attended, the Owners who are present … may adjourn the meeting to a time not less than 48 hours from the time the original meeting is called.  Art. III, sect. 6, By-Laws.
  • Another interesting occurrance was the attendance of the owner of
ALPINE ROOFING.  He talked about the roofs being installedand then stated
that this TPO roof has a "20 year no-dollar-limit warranty"  It should be noted
ALPINE ROOFING's estimate clearly stated that the TPO roof has a "10 year
         no-dollar-limit warranty".
